About Y. T. Mihaly

   I have lived the majority of my life in Colorado and Florida. I'm married and have three children. I love them all, but even they know my greatest passion is writing.

   I've always been drawn to the vastness of space and the mysteries of our universe. After working in the space and publishing industries years ago, I never imagined that the threat of losing my ability to write would be the very thing that compelled me to do it.

   My surgeon told me I needed a complete shoulder replacement. Let me tell you, the phrase motion is lotion has never been more fitting and accurate. His words echoed in my mind. If you don't use it, you'll lose it.

   That moment unlocked something inside of me—an unstoppable surge of creativity that carved a path through my mind, filling it with endless what-ifs.

   Determined, I fused my love for science fiction, the unknown of our expansive universe, and an instinctual creativity into something new. Something that could outlast my physical limits.

   After the grueling surgery, in a semi-drug-induced state, I forced my fingers to move.

I typed.

One word became a sentence.

Sentences grew into paragraphs.

Pages unfolded into chapters.

   My fractured body couldn't stop my thoughts from igniting.

   And from that fire, the Slide Series was born.

   Perhaps it was the painkillers, but I'd rather believe it was something deeper—an unshakable part of me, guiding me toward my unventured passion. The mysteries of time, the wonders of the universe, and the infinite possibilities of what lies beyond took root in my imagination, weaving together a mind-bending saga that I am thrilled to share with you.

   The vision of beyond time extends past my books. My company's logo for Celestial Keyhole Publishing, LLC, embodies the entire concept: a keyhole in space. A wormhole. A portal. A gateway to traverse the unfathomable.

   As a new futurist and sci-fi/fantasy author, my goal is to take you on an enigmatic journey, riddled with suspense and intrigue. I want to push the boundaries of your imagination with unexpected twists, unforgettable characters, and stories that linger in your conscience long after you turn the last page.

   I have poured my heart, soul, and tears into this series. I invite you to slide with me into the inconceivable. Let me captivate you. Escape with me, the ordinary deluge of monotony and everyday life.

   My wish is that Passage, the first book in the Slide Series, will leave you hungry for more. And after you read the final book, your expectations are not only met, but overflowing with complete satisfaction.

   We all experience and process pain differently. Mine has brought me here. I love that I created something through my pain. Something I can be proud of. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I've enjoyed writing it!
